Scope & Content: Croquet hoops on the lawn of Government House. The house was rented by the Isle of Man Government from 1863. In 1903 the property was purchased by the Manx Government and considerable alterations were undertaken to the designs of Liverpool architects Willink and Thicknesse. These included the demolition of everything to the left of the curved bay.
