Douglas Town Hall

Description: Douglas Town Hall is near the quayside in Douglas on the east coast of the Isle of Man (NGR 23808 47540). Brown's Popular Guide to the Isle of Man of 1930 says, "At the junction of Prospect Hill with Ridgeway Street are the Town Hall, the Public Library, and the Fire Brigade offices, all under one roof. The building was erected in 1900. The main entrance to the Town Hall is very fine, and well worth inspecting." (p.73)
