Biography: Ann Heath was an artist on the Isle of Man and a founding member of the Mannin Art Group (1949). There are a number of her portrait paintings in Tynwald, depicting various members of the House of Keys - as well as a couple of oils held by Manx National Heritage. Heath was an important member of the Mannin Art Group - one of the Islands oldest art societies, welcoming members of all abilities to meet and paint together, to create and exhibit their work as a local community - and even into her old age, despite no longer painting, Heath remained a large part of the Manx art community. She was a very well-known local artist in her heyday. Even at the age of 102, her art was being exhibited by the Mannin Art Group, in an exhibition named ‘memory lane’.
