Biography: Received at the Privilege Camp, Douglas Camp from Knockaloe 10.9.1915. Performed in the play "Flachsmann Als Erzieher" performed 6.6.1916. On the program to act in a comedy 'Die Logenbrueder' performed at the German Theatre, Douglas on 14.9.1916 & 17.9.1916 and 'Sherlock Holmes' performed 22.10.1916. Acted in a comedy 'Der Biberpelz' at the German Theatre at Christmas 1916. Sang in a revue performed at New Year 1916-1917 at the German Theatre, Douglas. etc. Brought before the Camp Commandant 23.12.1917 with 4979 & 3727 after bottles of whisky, rum and port were found in their hut when searched by Sgt. Fayle 22.12.1917. They were remanded until 27.12.1917. Brought back before the Camp Commandant 27.12.1917 and sentenced to being deprived of all liquor for a month and instant removal from the Privilege Camp (Lower Camp) to the Upper Camp in case of any further rule-breaking. Transferred to Ripon 22.2.1919. Douglas Camp internee number: 3726 (MS 09310) 3729 (MD 15028/2).
