Biography: Surgeon-General Henry Wickham Stevenson, Indian Medical Service, Surgeon General to the Government of Bombay, and an Additional Member of the Council of the Governor of Bombay for making Laws and Regulations. Lived at Balladoole, near Castletown. One of his sons, Ralph Stevenson, was an officer in the First World War and a diplomat in the Second. His other son, J.H.W.Stevenson, was killed in the First World War as an officer in the Indian Army.
