Biography: John Christian was born at Port Erin, and joined the army at Douglas. He enlisted in the 7th battalion Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, and served in France, being killed in action on 25 August 1916. He is buried at Philosophe British Cemetery, Mazingarbe, France. (Image ref: PG/13743/17).
