Biography: Thomas Kelly of Castletown joined the Royal Engineers following the outbreak of the First World War. He was posted to France, to join the 1st Signal Section of the Monmouthshire Royal Engineers. He was killed in action on 22 October 1918, and is buried at Duisans British Cemetery.
