Biography: Lieutenant Ernest Harcourt Goldie-Taubman, son of John Senhouse Goldie-Taubman and brother of John Leigh Goldie-Taubman of the Nunnery. Captain 5th battalion Royal Irish Regiment (Militia) 1892. He served in British East Africa and ended his career with the rank of Major. In 1922 was governor of HM Prison Birmingham.
