She was sentenced to seven weeks imprisonment (1st class) as from the 8th October 1940, the date on which she was remanded. On release from H.M. Prison Douglas she was arrested again and transferred to Holloway. - 5.12.40 at 08.15 hours P.C. McAdam and Wardress Flaws from Liverpool City Police escorted Marianne Fischer from the Isle of Man Goal to Liverpool. - Her Grandfather was a Jew.
