Track 1: She talks about moving to Peel in 1955 to rent and eventually buy the boarding house Rockview with her family; getting ready for first season; layout and use of rooms; hot and cold water installed in the rooms in the 1960s; visitors and her 'boys' who came for the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy (TT) race week; wet weather activities for guests; arrival and check out times; an average day; meals; prices; winter decorating; staff; administration tasks; husbands of guesthouse keepers; comparison to farm life; decision and process of buying the guesthouse in 1965; government improvement loans; lawyer T.W.
