Harry Boyde talks to Leslie Quirk (18 min. 09 sec.) in Manx. Harry tells a number of stories including the bishop's dog chasing him; father angry with his son for walking ahead of him on the road; drunk man walking home with his dog; weaver who stole clothes and set fire to his shop. He talks about how he was born near Bishopscourt and went to the 'new school' at Ballaugh; seasick when fishing; story about a drunk man; barley bread eaten with butter; story about men poaching rabbits; two brothers and their sick father making his will; people coming on holiday from England.
