Whereas at Huyton you devoted yourself to the very strenuous work in the kitchens in the most difficult circumstances imaginable, you have started here with the same kind of work but very soon turned to the administration of the Camp Welfare Cafe which formed a very essential part of our Camp life and owing to your untiring intiative considerably contributed towards the maintenance of our funds and social services. May I mention particularly that we all highly appreciated the unselfish way and the amiable manner in which you always performed your difficult duties.'
