Scope & Content: Thomas Wilson (1663 - 1755), was Bishop of Sodor and Man between 1697 and 1755. One of his first acts when he came to the Isle of Man was to build new churches and he eventually rebuilt most of the churches of the diocese along with the establishment of public libraries.
