This is my Grandfather Jimmy Turnbull who lived at No. 56 Queen Street having moved there around 1954 from the Grenagh cottages on Shore Road. He had just returned from visiting his 2 sisters who emigrated to New Zealand in their teens. Granddad had never been off the island and my father accompanied him to Southampton from where he set sail to NZ on the liner Dominion Monach. - Sheila Kelly Report this
