Scope & Content: On the back of this photograph Frowde writes, 'On R no 19 New Bond St, first house to be demolished. The Step-down Inn was next door. This was a low house, but in the previous print but one, it towers above the roof of the old Inn. On L the entrance to the 'house part' of the old Grammar School, in which T E Brown was born'.
