Scope & Content: Tracks 1 and 2: recording begins with general conversation until an interviewer begins to ask them about their family history. They talk about researching family history at the Manx Museum; birds in the garden; using the Isle of Man Family History Society; where members of the Bridson family are buried including aunt Kate, uncle Bob, uncle Charlie and Dora in Kirk Braddan; buses being on strike; uncle John who lived at the St German crossing; aunt Katherine being in the Mannin Infirmary, then living in Millbrook boarding house on Drury Terrace; uncle Jimmy who drowned and uncle Johnny who died in Ballamona.

Discussion of family members over lunch including where people are buried (uncle Bob in Braddan and Fred in Rushen); aunt Liz who lived on Allen Street; Mr & Mrs Kissack who lived at 7 Sidley Street; brother Cecil who was berthing manager on the ship canal.

Administration / Biographical History: Mrs Lilly Kinrade (née Bridson), known as 'Auntie Lilly'. Her cousins Jane, Katy and Ciss (daughters of Louisa Bridson, second cousins to Basil Bridson).
