Queen's Pier, Ramsey, Isle of Man

Scope & Content: The Queen's Pier was opened on 22 July 1886. The toll-houses and the 'shelter-house' at the end were constructed by the Ramsey builder Edward Gawne. A railway line was laid along the pier which carried passengers and goods to and from the boats.
