Douglas Promenade, Isle of Man

Scope & Content: Children riding donkeys along Central Promenade, Falcon Cliff and Olympia in the background. This was the last of the Douglas promenade to be completed, being formally opened by Lieutenant Governor Henniker in 1896. Clarence Terrace on the left was laid out on part of the Castle Mona lawns in the 1840s.
