Scope & Content: Victorian children and a woman feeding the hens on an unknown farm. Notice the projecting stones to act as steps for the hens to gainaccess to the roost set above thepig sty in typical Manx fashion. Also typical is the arrangement of the two storey farm building being built into an embankmentso that the first floor barn above the cow house can be entered at ground or near to ground level.
