Scope & Content: Blaue's map of the Isle of Man from his atlas of the counties of England and Wales. Typical of the beautiful maps of the great Dutch school. Colour is used with very pleasing effect and the tasteful use of ornament is typical of the best in the seventeenth century.
The map is based on Speed, without surrounding coasts. Depicts the Manx and English coats of arms. Colour tinted. No scale shown.
