Stevenson family notes

Scope & Content: 2 sheets are typescript extracts from a letter to P W Caine from G M Stevenson, Buckinghamshire in which notes Stevensons in early records such as the Lib Assed and records from Knowsley. There is a letter to William Cubbon from A W Stevenson dated 30 March 1927 thanking him for a document and decribing descendants of Richards Stevenson and Isabel Christian, for example John who married Jane Senhouse of Nether Hall, Cumberland, Richard and Alice Waters and their son Richard Ambrose who married Margery Frissel among others.There is a one page pencilled note which mentions a Stevenson seal and notes on entries from fragments of Liber Assed. Finally a 13 page typescript document which also lists entries in Lib assed relating to The Calf of Man and Balladoole and the Stevenson family.
The typescript may be in some way related to newspaper articles published in The Manx Sun in 1904 called 'Notes and documents from the records' by A.W. Moore.
