Date(s): early 20th century
Creator(s): various
Scope & Content: A genealogical tree commences with Thomas Tunman, Member of the House of Keys (MHK) probable father of John of The Bowling Green, Castletown (MHK) who died in 1689. Other notable persons appearing in the tree are Major John Taubman married to Dorothy Christian of Milntown, Alexander John Goldie, John Goldie Taubman, Captain Mark Wilks Taubman, General Thomas Leigh Taubman (killed at Inkerman), Sir John Senhouse Taubman and Sir George Dashwood Goldie Taubman.
A 7 page document lists various entries relating to Taubman baptisms, marriages and burials primarily in Arbory and Malew and a typed extract from possibly the Rushen setting Quest relating to land around The Bowling Green.
A rough pencilled tree has been set out showing descendants of John Senhouse of Seascale and a pencilled note states that Thomas Faragher of Shenvalley was a sponsor at the baptism of Isabella Cosnahan (undated). Finally, there is a typescript annotated transcription of a letter from Thomas Faragher to John Taubman dated 1778 asking for a loan and stating that he is to be appointed First Surgeon's Mate onboard the 'Sybole' commanded by Captain Posley (the location of the original letter is not known).
