Letter from John Courtney Bluett to High Bailiff J Kelly

Scope & Content: Bluett acknowleges receipt of Kelly's letter dated 5 January and concurs in the plan of the proposed General Committee. He continues, 'At the request of many Tradesmen here I have published a brief statement of the Catastrophe (regarding the brig Lily) on their paper for circulation in England by whicvh I trust a good deal may be obtained. I have sent out sixty and shall send many more'.
