Scope & Content: The will deals with the dispersal of property in Lancashire to John Formby. People named are in Dublin and Liverpool

Land in the Isle of Man includes Ballalough, Pickhards Close, Halsall's Houses and Gardens, Robert Cannell's House and Allen's Houses. Property is given to trustees of the Free Grammar School at Castletown, money towards the education of girls (reading, sewing knitting and spinning).(See Catherine Halsall's Charity)

Sums are to be paid to Isle of Man residents including Elizabeth Halsall and Richard Halsall of Castletown. Money is left to the children of Margaret Teare by the late Daniel Teare of Ramsey and to the children of William Wattleworth; also the eldest son of William Makon of Castletown for his apprenticeship, Catherine Taubman wife of John Moore (Clerk of Kirk Arbory), Margaret (daughter of the late John Quayle, Vicar of Malew), Elizabeth Quirk formerly Wattleworth of Peel, Margaret daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Faragher, Catherine Taubman (daughter of Thomas and Catherine Taubman), John Taubman (Attorney at law in Castletown ) and his wife Esther Taubman, Margaret Teare nee Wattleworth of Ramsey, the wife of Matthew Taubman of Arbory, the wife of the late Vicar Quayle of Malew and William Halsall's children of Castletown.
