Administration / Biographical History: Helen Blanche Wallace was born in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. She settled in the Isle of Man after visiting her friend Miss Brabazon and married Edward 'Ned' Nelson of Glenchass (a fisherman and small farmer). Blanche was a keen Methodist preacher. She died in 1909 aged 59.
