Notebook recording details of internees held in Peveril Camp, Peel as well as addresses of agencies and other contacts

Scope & Content: Listing is partially alphabetical by surname but also arranged by house numbers: 18-19 and 27-39 with the name of the Captain connected to each house given at the top of the page. The men are recorded by their surname, initials of first names, internee number and house number. There is no indication of nationality of the internees but there are Norwegian surnames amongst the entries. Camp 'X' was used for 18B detainees as well as other internees.
Addresses of the chief postal censor, Norwegian Red Cross British Branch and Home Office (Internment Camp Division), are recorded at the front of the volume and the International Red Cross, French Committee, Belgian Red Cross, French Ambassador and Society of Friends' addresses are at the rear among others.
Administration / Biographical History: Possibly written by a Mr Mac Kelly and produced in the course of postal censorship or other camp administration.
