Scope & Content: The notebook contains a diary for June 14 to July 19, and part of October. 6 October 'Mona Douglas came to Crammag having arranged to meet Mr. Cubbon/librarian & Mr. Kneen here, I walk to Sulby'. There is a short sketch of the farmers inhabiting Sulby Glen in and about 1856. Included is a ist of demolished houses in 1856 and of their former inhabitants. Poems comprise:' Liberty','The Days Gone by', 'On the Hills', 'The Empty Nest' .
