Centred on Hugh Mackay Baillie Scott (1865-1945), his architecture, interiors, influence and his market with particular focus on his pianos, first designed in 1896, which were to be come known as 'the Manxman'. Includes discussion of his Baillie Scott's work as architect, interior designer and advocate of the Arts and Crafts movement, the development of the pianoforte and The Manxman piano designed by Baillie Scott.
