Scope & Content: The family pedigree records the issue of John Stanway Jackson (1797-1881) and Harriet Sing (1797-1878); copy of letter to Jeannie MacLehose, sister of the bridegroom, with a description of the wedding of James MacLehose to Louisa Jackson (eldest daughter) at Falcon Cliff, 1850; typed transcription of same.

Administration / Biographical History: John Stanway Jackson came to the Isle of Man from Scotland to take up the position of manager of the Bank of Mona. By winning a public lottery he acquired the land on which he built Falcon Cliff to the design of architect John Robinson.
