The opening of Noble's hospital, Douglas

Scope & Content: Opening of Noble's Isle of Man Hospital on Crellin's Hill, Douglas and now the Manx Museum. This was the first custom-built hospital on the Island on the instruction of local businessman and philanthropist Henry Bloom Noble.The lady at the back of the main crowd wearing a white hat, white blouse and sand coloured bustle skirt is Mrs Corlett. Next to her in the bowler hat is Mr J.R. Corlett. 2nd on the right is "uncle Albert"- probably Corlett.
