First World War Internee Theatrical Production (but not on stage), Knockaloe Camp, Isle of Man
Date(s): ?1917
Scope & Content: This would appear to be a scene from Husarenfieber a light hearted comedy popular in Germany prior to 1914, but reflecting the highly miltarised society of that time. The set with its portaits of the Kaiser (possibly an officers' mess?) strongly resembles the set of this production when it was filmed in the early 1920s.
The glass plate appears to be marked 'Rose Monday'
