Scope & Content: Sage Kinvig tells a story of being followed by the 'Moddey Dhoo'; story of a woman who was upset that her daughter was marrying a 'foreigner', a man from Douglas; how not many people went to Douglas; how in the old days there weren't many people speaking English; she doesn't remember where she got her Manx; how she used to spin and sew; all houses had a loom; how she was married in Arbory church and had ten children; her husband was from Eary (Mooar/Moon); how many men from Ronague went to the fishing.

The sound quality of the recording is sometimes poor.
