Scope & Content: The location of the Fairy Bridge in Braddan is described. Quine's Hill P.M. Chapel; The remains of the old smithy formerly worked by the Cormodes is described with information about the family that lived there. Smith in Barrack Street - the blacksmith was W J Corkhill; Cows were kept by the Watterson;s in Drinkwater Street and they had land at Lazy hill at Belmont below the road, now called Hill's Meadow. Ballalig Farm belonged to the Quine family for many generations. Description of the outbuilding with a farmworker's bedroom on the top floor which contained a fire.
