Scope & Content: Demolition of Callister's House, Douglas Street, Peel. The image shows the staircase above the front door. Also a window seat and the site of the main hearth which has an arched chimney breast in cut stone. A penny of James II (1688) was found by a workman above first floor level. Some bog oak was used as window lintels (information from Basil Magaw)
