Baptised in Kirrk Rushen on 3 March 1867, Robert Alfred (Robbie) Watterson was the illegitimate son of James Faragher (1846-1933) and Ann Watterson. A merchant seaman, Robbie married Catherine Ann (Annie) Crebbin (1870-1940) in Arbory Parish Church on 4 March 1893. Living for a time in Liverpool, but in later years returnig to the Island, Robbie and Annie had two children, Catherine Elizabeth (Bessie) Powell (nee Watterson) (1893- ) and Thomas Edwin Watterson (1895-1972). - Ian Watterson Report this
