The author sets out four project objectives; namely: to estimate the size of the current wallaby population on the Ballaugh Curragh wetland site; examine the wallabies' principle diet through faecal analysis; collect observational data to contribute to the understanding of wallaby actions and population dynamics on the site; and through this information, comparative literature and other data sources, infer the potential actions of the wallaby population and their impact on the conservation of the site. Appendix includes plant list of species recorded at Balluagh Curragh 1998.
