Scope & Content: Claud Crigan (Tall boy in tree) died young. Next to him Major Charles Crigan who was at Corunna, saw death and funeral of Sir John Moore and died at Plymouth of privation. (vide his momoir). Boy holding hat for cherries, George, shot in a duel at 19 by an officer in his regiment who was broken for his conduct on this occasion. Tall girl behind chair Rebecca Claud Crigan of Covey Warren, Omagh. Girl in chair Jametta Hodgkinson of Arborfield, Berkshire, who wrote this memoir 'Memoir of Major Claud Crigan, Liverpool 1864. Child next with hat and feather Alexander Rector of ? Yorkshire, my grandfather. Girl in hat offering flowers Marian, afterwards Mrs Croft. The house is Bishopscourt, Isle of Man, where Claudius Crigan was Bishop for 30 years.
