'A Commentary on Writing 'Enemy Alien' '

Scope & Content: Submitted thesis by author for a degree of Doctor of Philosophy, department of literature, film and theatre studies, University of Essex, based on the methodology of writing her novel 'Enemy Alien'. The author's study was in part inspired by the internment of her grandmother Ida Narduzzo between January and September 1941 on the Isle of Man. Images of letters and Port Erin and Port St Mary used as part of the creation of the novel.
