Scope & Content: On the back of this photograph Frowde writes, In the same neighbourhood (Fairy Ground), we have seen a number of cellars that were surely built for some other purpose than that they are used for now. One in particular, contains many strong oaken beams, and has the remains of a passage leading in he direction of the harbour. There is no doubt whatever as to the uses to which such passages were out in the old days'.
