No. 4 New Bond Street, Douglas
Date(s): 1932
Creator(s): Frowde, John James
Scope & Content: On the back of this photograph Frowde writes, 'Matt. Cain the baker's window - 4 New Bond Street. Cain started there in 1839, but the premises look more like the style of Geo. the IIIrd. The rich thick letters over the door come out better in a 'head-on' view from Harris' Lane in this series. They, with the quaint window accentuate the Georgian idea'.
