Scope & Content: An oval image said to be a photograph of a painting at Bishopscourt, given to the donor "by my Mother to whom it was presented by Archdeacon Moore, a relative of Philip". Philip translated some of the bible into Manx gaelic- probably Isaih, Jeremiah & Lamentations and Daniel plus part of The Acts.He also assisted in translating the Prayer Book.
