The Rev Barnes married Katie Davis, (Aunt of Mrs Kitto Kensington Rd) who lived in my present premises in Windsor Rd where I have been for 42 years (1935). They went to New Zealand, and in the Summer of 1934, Mrs Kitto brought in Katie's daughter, from NZ. Katie deceased, and her daughter wanted to see and photograph the old house her Mother had so often talked about. Around 1874 Katie used to shew me the pictures in the 'Leisure Hour' and 'Sunday at Home' on stormy Sunday afternoons in the 'parlour'.
