Scope & Content: On the back of this photograph Frowde writes, 'The Iron Pier was demolished - pier blasted - in 1895. (Moffatt, hairdresser then with Mr Coupe sent, and still working in the same shop). Same year as the great snowstorm in February 5th & 7th and long after.This fact dates the Falcon Cliff Pavilion being evidence later than the Iron Pier'.
