Scope & Content: 1898 replacement for the little chapel in the dell by the bridge. Note the change in architectural style compared with the chapels of 50 years earlier. Pointed windowheads with Y tracery. The building is far more gothic with its buttresses which are there for decoration, the cast iron finials and the pointed arched entrance doors. Nowadays the porch has gone and a garage door greets the visitor to this redundant church building.
