Scope & Content: Ballaneddin Farm is still farmed by Teares (2016). Jackie's father was Captain of the Parish for Ballaugh 1922 - 1925 until his death from typhoid, along with his daughter Milly, after drinking from a stream in Kirk Michael after playing hockey. Jackie worked for the Highway Board and on threshing mills. Edith was known as Ma and enjoyed her garden - her roses are still going strong (2016).
