Covering letter from Josephine Kermode signed simply 'Cushag' to unknown addressee
Date(s): 20 September 2015
Creator(s): Kermode, Josephine
Scope & Content: Miss Kermode writes that she has enclosed a 'little play' (not with letter), seeks feedback and asks that it be forwarded to 'Cherry' (her sibling). She discusses rehearsals for a play production, the performance pieces she will take to a Sulby concert and content in the latest edition of 'Mannin' including naming the source for her own folklore contribution on the evil eye, 'the sweet old Mrs Caley' (volume 3, no. 5., May 2015). Of her brother Philip Kermode she writes, 'Himself has gone off for a day's geologizing or something with Stephen Harrison ...'; she will take her copy of 'Mannin' with her when she goes to meet Philip from the tram.
