Braddan Old Church architectural survey

Scope & Content: The archive consists of a reproduction of a series of architectural drawings by Guy Thompson of Braddan Parish Church (Old church) at a scale of 1:100, and 1:10 for additional detailed elements. This includes elevation drawings for each of the external elevations, a floor plan for each floor level, including those in the tower and an internal cross section depicting the building technique. Additional content includes detailed drawings of elements of particular interest including the gable cross and the incorporated date on the bell tower. Annotations include notes on the materials incorporated into the fabric of the church, the ground and floor levels and other points of interest significant to the development of the buildings biography are also included.
