Scope & Content: The stone was laid by Hon Arthur Stanley, MP, younger brother of the Earl of Derby. On the right is the official photographer being watched by one of the little boys. Around the choir are men with sashes and aprons from the various societies of the district. Ramsey Cottage Hospital was built, furnished and equipped at a cost of £8,000 provided by the Henry Bloom Noble Trust.
