Scope & Content: Bert and Maureen talk to John Beckerson about hotel consortium which owns the Balmoral, the Modwena, the Osborne, the Kensington, Stone Leigh and possibly the Claremont; Loch Wood becoming apartments; state of hotel industry; ‘Ben My Chree’ Isle of Man Steam Packet vessel too big for fewer visitors; hotels closing down; summer shows reduced; services available for attracting visitors; heritage sites as insufficient entertainment; small hotels and entertainment; televisions in hotel rooms. Bert finishes by saying they have a lot of regular visitors to the hotel who have been coming for 30 years.
