Scope & Content: Tracks 1 & 2: Harvey Briggs talks to John Kennaugh. He talks about his 54 harvest times as a farmer at Ballakilmartin and the changes he has seen, including the arrival of steam engines and tractors; cheese making, the feudal system and the introduction of Tenant Security in 1968/9; the tradition of Hollantide, when farm workers moved from one farm to another and farm sales took place.

Radio adverts and then a report by Mary from St Johns, auctions about sales of livestock; and the programme ends with mention of a forthcoming Gaiety Theatre show in aid of the Agricultural Benevolent Trust.
